When you look it up, do you get images making fun of people with downs, people in wheelchairs, and other disabled individuals?
Do lots of people with disabilities insist over and over again that it’s ableist?
If you answered yes to both, then guess what? It’s ableist!

Here’s an amazing resource made by some of the very talented people at IFM-SEI, dedicated to working with kids under thirteen on topics of gender and sexual identity. Rainbow Resources contains activities for educators trying to work on their own gender/sexuality knowledge, as well as fun activities to do with young participants.
